What documents do I need to rent a car?
Valid driver’s license, ID or passport recognized by Spanish law and a credit card in the name of the main driver.
How old do I have to be to rent a vehicle? And how many years of license?
Each driver must be at least 25 years old and hold, for at least one year, a valid driving license for the entire rental period. In addition, you must necessarily present a European DNI or Passport, both in force. There is a Young Driver supplement applicable to ages between 19 and 25, both included, of € 10 per day with a minimum of € 24 and a maximum of € 300.
When will the amount withheld for the Franchise deposit and the Deposit or Preauthorization be released?
The return of the Franchise and Bond or Preauthorization can range between 14 and 31 days depending on the bank used and due to the operation of the Lessee’s entity.
What fuel policy applies?
We deliver the vehicle to you with a full tank of fuel and you have the obligation to return it equally full. In case of non-compliance, a refueling management fee of € 29 will be charged plus the remaining liters until reaching 100% of the deposit.
Is there a mileage limit on my rental?
The rental has an unlimited mileage per rental in the Balearic Islands.
What deposit do I have to leave for my rental?
The amount of the deposit varies according to the category of the vehicle.
I want to reserve the car on one island in the Balearic Islands and leave it on another, is it possible? What extra does it correspond to?
Yes, it is possible to return the vehicle to a different location within the Islands of Ibiza and Formentera other than where the contract was signed in the same terms and conditions stipulated in the General Conditions of the contract. There is an additional charge for this service of € 300.
Can I drive outside of Spain?
(It is reported that some of our vehicles have geolocators and if it is detected that they have exceeded the allowed territory, it will be considered a breach of the contract, and the leasing company may penalize the lessee with € 950, in addition to the charge for all possible damages to the vehicle and excess mileage, and € 350 for a tow truck if required.
Can I take the car from the Balearic Islands to the peninsula?
No, our insurance is not covered outside the Balearic Islands.
I have reserved a vehicle in my name, but will not drive at the end. Is it necessary to change the name of the reservation?
Yes, you can make the name change when you pick up the vehicle.
How long can I rent a vehicle?
The minimum rental period for our vehicles is 1 day (24 hours) with a maximum of 15 days. If you want to rent the vehicle for a period of more than 15 days, please contact us.
How are the rental days counted?
The rental days are calculated for periods of 24 hours from the exact time the vehicle is delivered and until its return. Partial days must be paid in full.
I have made a reservation and I have not received any confirmation in my email.
Make sure you have entered a valid email address. Please, check the spam folder and contact the Telephone Service at +34 62227707 if you have not finally received your Voucher.
Can I reserve a vehicle for today?
Yes. You can make your reservation through our website. In case of doubts, contact the Telephone Service directly to confirm the collection of the vehicle.
Can I choose the vehicle model I want to rent?
We guarantee the chosen model in those vehicles indicated as “Guaranteed model”. Otherwise we will deliver the same model, a similar one or a vehicle belonging to a higher category.
How do I request an invoice for my reservation?
You can download your rental invoices through our website. If you need an invoice in the name of the company, please send an email to email@example.com indicating the tax information and the reservation or contract number. You will receive your invoice by email within a maximum period of 15 business days from the date of the request.
Is it possible to modify or cancel my reservation?
To make a request to modify your reservation, you can send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or contact Telephone Service at +34 62227707 indicating the data you wish to modify. Cancellations of reservations made through our website can be canceled up to 72 hours before picking up the vehicle through our telephone service or by e-mail email@example.com indicating in the subject “Cancellation” and the reservation number. In reservations less than 72 hours before picking up the vehicle, no amount will be reimbursed per reservation made except for reasons of force majeure (natural catastrophe, wars, attacks, death or serious illness of the tenant, his parents, siblings / as or children) reliably accredited at the aforementioned address.
What kind of coverage can I buy to rent a car?
All our vehicles have Basic Insurance that includes basic insurance and civil liability, entailing a damage franchise whose value depends on the category of the contracted vehicle and ranges between € 900 and € 2,500. You can eliminate the entire insurance excess by contracting the optional coverage “R4E Full Cover” that includes sheet metal and paint, wheels, windows and elimination of excess. Please, consult the General Contracting Conditions and, in case of doubt, contact the Telephone Service.
Where do I pick up the vehicle?
In the Booking Voucher we indicate the place of collection of the vehicle.
Does the vehicle carry any documentation? In the case of loss, does it have any cost?
Yes, all vehicles have a certified copy of the vehicle documentation. In case of loss, it will entail an additional cost of € 60.
What are your office hours? Until what hours do you accept reservations, even outside normal hours?
Our offices are open every day from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Outside these hours it is also possible to withdraw or return the vehicle, but this service carries an additional charge of € 50.
What should I do if I have a ticket? Do you have any extra charges?
If you have not proceeded to pay the penalty during your rental period, you will receive the notification at your address with the necessary instructions to make the corresponding payment. We must tell you that we will proceed to collect € 50 for driver identification and penalty management, as stipulated in our General Contract Conditions.
Should I make a prepayment when I book through your website?
Yes, you must make a partial or total prepayment at the time of confirming the reservation through our website.
Upon my arrival at the airport, how can I get to your offices?
By default deliveries will be made at the airport on the day and time that the vehicle is blocked in the reservation questionnaire on the web, in any case we make deliveries throughout the island of Ibiza, with an extra cost of € 120 for this service .
What means of payment are accepted?
All services will be paid by credit or debit card at our offices. If you want to make the reservation through our website, you can only make the payment by bank card. The retention of the security deposit will only be possible by credit card. RENT 4 EXPERIENCE RENT A CAR only accepts VISA and MASTERCARD credit cards.
Can I pay in a currency other than the euro?
The rates established by the leasing company are valued in Euros (€), being converted into any other currency through the converter, dissociating itself from any conversion error. Being able to make the payment in all our facilities in the currency that you contracted, only with the credit cards established in the previous point. Cash payment of any currency other than Euro is not accepted in any case.
Can I include an additional driver in my reservation?
Yes, you can include a maximum of two additional drivers both at the time of booking and upon arrival at our offices.
If you do not hire the coverage “Roadside Assistance” or “International Roadside Assistance”, what is the cost of the towing service?
The cost of the tow truck service in case of not having contracted the Roadside Assistance coverage is € 350.
I have a reservation outside of office hours, does it have an extra charge?
The collection or return of vehicles outside our office hours carries an extra charge of € 50 per service.
I need to reserve a chair for my child. What type of chairs do you have? How much does it cost?
We offer you the baby and child seat, for a daily cost with minimums and maximums, differentiating between three groups specified in our offices and on the RENT 4 EXPERIENCE RENT A CAR website.
I am interested in hiring full coverage when picking up the vehicle. What are my options?
You can opt for one of the following coverages against possible damages: R4E FULL Cover (includes: sheet metal and paint, wheels, windows and elimination of excess), Coverage of windows and wheels or Roadside Assistance.
I need a GPS. How much does it cost to reserve it?
All our vehicles have built-in GPS.
What does the R4E FULL Cover more comprehensive coverage include?
The R4E FULL Cover coverage includes the protection of your vehicle against possible damage to sheet metal, paint, wheels, windows and elimination of excess.
What is the cost of the complete R4E FULL Cover? (the groups)
The cost of the R4E FULL Cover varies according to the selected vehicle group.
Group 1: € 20 and maximum amount € 200 / day.
Group 2: € 30 and maximum amount € 260 / day.
Group 3: € 60 and maximum amount € 450.
What is included in the “Excess Elimination” included in the R4E FULL Cover coverage?
With the Elimination of Franchise you will not have to leave any amount as a franchise.
What does the coverage of Wheels and windows include?
The Wheels and Windows coverage includes possible damage to tires, rims and glass as long as they have not been caused by negligence or improper use of the vehicle by the lessor.
What is the cost of the Wheels and Moons coverage?
This coverage has a cost of € 10 / day with a minimum amount of € 15 and a maximum amount of € 150.
What is the cost of the Roadside Assistance and International Roadside Assistance coverage?
The Roadside Assistance service has a cost of € 15 per rental. This price applies to all categories of vehicles.

In the event that I have forgotten a supplement or complementary service when making the reservation, can I add it again when I arrive at the counter?
You can hire the complements or complementary services, both at the time of making the reservation and upon arrival at our offices, although it is advisable to include them during the reservation process to guarantee availability upon your arrival.
